A lovely message on Twitter from Elizabeth Hopkinson told me she had nominated me for this award.

3. I always have Burmese cats (which is not compatible with 1.)
4. I love grammar, punctuation and spelling and am a bit of a language Nazi.
5. I am going to Mexico for the first time this year
6. I speak Italian (which won't be much use in Mexico)
7. I can do cryptic crosswords
You can read about the Versatile Blogger Award and I do hope you'll follow my nominees if you don't already; they are very good, informative and entertaining.

Thank you so much for including us over at the Slushpile! Such a lovely honour.
Congrats on the award! That's well deserved.
And good luck on your Mexico trip. You may be pleasantly surprised with your Italian. I speak French and a very little Spanish (virtually none) but managed to do fine in Italy as long as people spoke slowly and really wanted to communicated. We all laughed a LOT at my attempts, but with some repetition and hand gestures it was great fun. Hope you have a lovely trip!
